Outing to Great Dixter

Great Dixter is a garden I know very well. It is one of the most dynamic and exciting gardens with a big reputation, not just in this country, but in the world.  We are very fortunate to have it literally on our doorstep - within an hour’s drive - and we are delighted to announce that we will be visiting there for our annual outing on June 2025.

Under the stewardship of head gardener, Fergus Garrett, the gardens are vibrant and daring – highly managed and exuberant yet rich in biodiversity, and offer interest in every season of the year.  In June for our visit, the wildflower meadows which surround the property should be awash with thousands of orchids, a sight which has to be seen to be believed.  The borders should be effusive and vibrant.
