Our AGM takes place on Tuesday 18th March at Colkins Mill Church - from 7.00 pm the doors will be open to welcome all our members and guests and invite you to join or renew your membership for the 2025/6 season whilst enjoying a glass of wine and some nibbles on us and a chance to catch up with your gardening friends.
Please allow some extra time as there might be a queue and don’t forget you can park in the Roman Catholic Church car park along Station Road if the street is busy. Everyone who attends the meeting will also receive a free raffle ticket to win a lovely prize, see below!
Annual membership costs just £7.50 and includes free entry to all our talks and events (excluding outings) for the coming year. Non-members pay £5 to come to talks. New members are always welcome to join our friendly and thriving club: tell your friends to come along and find out what we’re all about and make new friends with those who share a common interest in gardening. You definitely don’t need to be an expert to join in, and we have an exciting schedule of events lined up for this year!

Following the (usually short!) AGM, we will be treated to a demonstration from our friends in the village from the Flower House of a beautiful seasonal spring flower arrangement and receive some tips on some of the best flowers to grow for spring cutting. One lucky raffle ticket owner will win the display to take home! Hope to see you there.
SEEDY SATURDAY REVIEW

It was a very busy and successful morning on Saturday 1st February at our second Seedy Saturday Seed Swap & Social. Over 1,000 packets of seeds swapped, loads of advice given, seeds sown in the demos, coffee and tea drunk, cake consumed! Over £500 generated for Society funds, brilliant. Look out for member Barbara Murray’s review in the April Mayfield Newsletter…available in outlets in the village from today, 1st March.
